Kamon's unagi is direct-grilled Kansai-style without steaming.
Savor the crisp skin and fluffy flesh.
Enjoy the pure umami, charcoal aroma, and crisp-fluffy texture without any condiments.
Add sansho or wasabi to taste. It refreshes the richness and reveals new flavors. We recommend our aromatic local sansho.
Pour hot dashi over the remaining rice for an exquisite ochazuke-style finish infused with unagi essence.
Opened in May 2023 in Tokunaga, Yamato-cho, Gujo City. The renovated former sake brewery retains its massive beams and pillars, blending historical weight with warm wood in a serene space. The Kurisu River, a tributary of the Nagara, flows beside the restaurant, offering gentle breezes and soothing sounds.
Worth traveling from afar! Had the red & white bowl (shirayaki and kabayaki). The shirayaki was three levels above expectation. The rice soaked in local soy sauce was exquisite. The kabayaki was, of course, delicious!!

Delicious unagi restaurant in Gujo✨ Renovated old folk house with lovely atmosphere. The grill is crisp outside, fluffy inside. The renovated interior is clean and timeless, enjoyed while viewing the mossy garden.
Due to our careful grilling and purging process, daily servings are limited.
We strongly recommend reservations, especially for visitors from afar.
